Peer review quality and selectivity standards vary greatly from journal to journal, publisher to publisher, and field to field.
Peer review is the evaluation of work by one or more people with similar competencies as the producers of the work (peers). It functions as a form of self-regulation by qualified members of a profession within the relevant field. The peer review process depends to a large extent on the trust and willing participation of the scholarly community and requires that everyone involved behaves responsibly and ethically. When our publishing house contracts with an author to publish a book, in essence, the author (who is the copyright holder) grants the publisher the right to publish the work for an agreed-upon amount of money. This money is called a Royalty and is expressed as a percentageYou will be paid a 70% author royalty off the List Price. Print Book Royalty Rate You will be paid a 55% author royalty rate of the List Price, minus the per book printing cost.
